Asus Laptop Keyboard issues?

So it started of when I had to reboot my computer, don't ask why. When I got done with all the rebooting stuff I went to play an online game. I figured out the Asus Laptop Keyboard was disoriented, the controls were all messed up big time. Anyways it wasn't the game all the other games are same. And the weird thing about it is my computer keyboard controls are only is messed up when I play online games. One more thing all my keys on my Laptop Keyboard type numbers. For example q=1 w=2 and its really annoying. Someone please help me! By the way my computer is an ASUS. How about buying a new one such as Toshiba Laptop Keyboard?
